"Superb quinta that works as a stylish boutique hotel and a wine estate. Smallish rooms and few have terraces. Pool area is glorious and the service level is excellent. We took out the ebikes, went to Regua by train and did the wine tour and tasting with Pedro. All meals were delicious. Just be aware that trains that stop here are very infrequent, walks will be hot and steep. You need to either have a car or be able to chill and just enjoy relaxing at the hotel. "Overall a lovely stay but for over $1,000 a night we expected the service to been better. +++ excursions (paid additional) were super fun. Did a full day of canyoning which was one of the highlights of our entire Lisbon trip. Super fun and our guide even brought homemade food to us. ++ pool was wonderful but silent so we brought a small speaker and other guests and staff thanked us for adding a nice pool “vibe” — service examples Dinner we waited about 20 minutes for our first drink....
