"We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place."

"This was our first stay at The Clarendon and we were mightily impressed. Communication leading up to our visit was first-rate, with passcode for entry to the hotel and room shared in good time. The room was a very pleasant surprise - lots of space, spotless and peerless facilities: fridge, microwave, iron and board and great air-conditioning (much-needed given the heatwave). Hotel was nice and quiet so we slept very well. We'll definitely be returning!"

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "

"The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop"

"We had a warm welcome at the hotel, which unfortunately doesn’t have any parking spaces. Our rooms were in the third floor, which we could access through an older elevator. The hotel has seen its best years and probably needs a good investor to renovate the property and furniture. It is at a great location, close to the beautiful beach and restaurants nearby. We left before 7am, when breakfast was served."
