"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first.
Thanks for a great stay Jenna, nice to meet you 👍"

"Check-in was easy on the terminal and I was assisted by a staff member. Room was large and comfortable with all the usual amenities.
It was a one night stay and i didn't stop for breakfast."
"We booked this hotel when we travelled from Kent to a 50th wedding anniversary. The location is beautiful, right on the river with country views. A short walk into the pretty town. The hotel was very nice, the breakfast plentiful with a good choice. We also ate in the restaurant and had a very nice meal. The room was large and had a nice bathroom with a great shower.
There is no lift in this hotel, but there are rooms nearby which might suit people who would have difficulty climbing the stairs. There are also low beams, which are charming but be aware if you are tall. All in all we were very happy with our stay. Sudbury and the surrounding areas are lovely. We went into Cambridge one day using the Trumpington park & ride, and went to Clare castle and country park.
I would happily recommend this hotel."
"Close to the train station which is why I chose it.
About a 1 km walk to waterfront restaurants and bars. There is really not much nearby.
Buffet breakfast pretty good.
Bizarre system where you get a 7 digit access code for your room. Tip: photograph it on your phone."
"The staff are always helpful and friendly whenever we stay at this hotel, which is one reasons we stay here when in Ipswich. The rooms are adequately furnished and always clean and fresh. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff in the dining room keep it clean, tables are cleared and re-set quickly.
Although it is just off the A14 it is a quiet location with good parking."
