Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben trotz sehr später Ankunft (Küche war schon über 1 Stunde geschlossen) noch ein tolles Steak gegrillt bekommen. Die Lage direkt am kleinen Hafen ist Treumhaft. Toller Urlaub zum Entschleunigen!

Hotel con ottima posizione. Collegamento diretto dal Porto di Sipanska Luka a Dubrovnik (anche se non pubblicizzato dall'offerta acquistata) Bellissimo mare, 2 spiagge accessibili a piedi a meno di 1km. Posto molto tranquillo, assolutamente non affollato. Biciclette a noleggio, kayak a noleggio; comunicazioni con Sudurad e le altre isole scarse. Camera piccola (letto matrimoniale appoggiato al muro e bagno minimo). Per fortuna gli spazi comuni dell'Hotel erano ampi e godibili. Colazione molto varia. Ristorazione serale insufficiente per quantità e qualità (caro nei prezzi per gli ospiti dell'Hotel: non previsto uno sconto per la mezza pensione).

Wonderful scenery and atmosphere.

Nice small hotel with a cozy atmosphere. After ten days here you get a bit tired of the breakfast “buffet” with limited things to choose from. But all and all a fine hotel in a perfect location.

Très bon séjour !

Une vraie qualité de service avec une réception parfaite. Le petit déjeuner très bon (sauf les jus de fruits). Nous n’avons pas profité du restaurant mais il semble super avec un prix très abordable pour le soir et un énorme barbecue. Seule déception une chambre (standard) très petite sous les toits. Très peu de chambre avec balcon, dommage. Sipan, un endroit difficile d’accès par ses propres moyens (bateau puis bus) mais un calme incroyable. Location de vélo conseillé, (90kn pour 4h, 120 la journée) pour un coucher de soleil au mont fulji incroyable !

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the harbour, our room was a good size and had beautiful “town” views from both decent sized windows. The reception staff were great. Breakfast ok but nothing special. The hot water was very unreliable, ranging mostly from lukewarm, to good, to cold. If we wanted hot water 3-4pm was the time to have it. The air conditioning kept turning itself off and yes, we did have our windows shut properly and unfortunately it was too bright to have our shutters open to let the air in. The wifi was the annoying type that drops out when you are not using the devise which meant we weren’t seeing emails,etc when they were actually received. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but there are a few nice restaurants close by.

Hotel Šipan

Pozor na základní pokoj standart pro dva nevyhovující malé dvojpostel v rohu místnosti. Hotel je idealní pro jachtaře přístav před ním, pláž na koupání s barem je vzdálená 500 m, ale je to na ní pěkné. Snídaně v hotelu bufet ale dost chudý a každý den úplně stejný dostatečný výběr ovoce a ořechů. Wifi ok.

Otok Sipan i Sipanska luka su predivni i Božji dar za odmor.....da sve zaboraviš, ali sam Hotel Sipan je u lošem stanju, puno lošije i neuredniije nego lani, lošija hrana, vrlo skroman izbor i jednoličan dorucak i večera.... a osoblje i ostalo je primjer hotela koji je pred privatizacijom ili nema pravog vlasnika, ovo je iskreno i istinito, bez daljnjih detalja

Muuten kaikki hotellissa toimi hyvin, mutta varatessamme päivämatkaa toiselle saarelle hotellista ilmoitettiin hinta, jonka piti kattaa koko reissu mutta saarelle päästyämme perittiin vielä lisämaksua n. 20€/henkilö, päivämatka veneellä maksoi jo valmiiksi budjettimatkaajalle paljon.

Quiet, simple pleasures

Beautiful, quiet island setting. Hotel itself is modern, plain but pleasant (rooms very clean and functional). There are no private gardens or pool, but there is a small front lawned area (directly by the pavement) with sun loungers. This is directly overlooking the harbour. The restaurant also overlooks the harbour at the front, outside, and is a charming setting. Breakfast is a very decent buffet. As an evening restaurant it's fine, not special. Other restaurants, seconds away, are better in the evening. You can hire kayaks and bicycles at the hotel. There's a man-made pebble beach a 10 minute wander away. The harbour has about 8 restaurants, one bar and a couple of small shops. The rest of Sipan is residential and churches. It's all very quiet, very small and charming. Food isn't cheap, as tourists are a captive market (approx £25-£30 per head for 2 courses plus one or two drinks). Fresh fish is best and caught daily. Sudurad is even smaller and an hour's walk away. There is an early ferry from Sipan to Dubrovnik (around 6.30/6.50am, changing on different days) and an evening one (around 7pm) back. Otherwise, there are more regular ferries to and from Sudurad and a local bus which shuttles between Sipan and Sudurad and takes 10 minutes (though doesn't always coincide with ferry times).

Worth a Visit

The accommodations are fair for the price. The breakfast is not so good. The wine and beer selection is limited. There is not much remarkable about the hotel, however the hotel is right in the center of everything you would do in Luka. Luka and Sipan Island are amazing and the hotel has rental bikes, kayaks, and SUPs which can really make for a nice stay.
