Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte. "Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. Die Zimmereinrichtung vom Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer sitzt man mit seinen Beinen direkt in der Dusche und die Duschtür hat nicht die richtigen Maße und lässt sich dadurch nicht auf Anhieb schließen. 2 Euro Parkgebühr pro Nacht für die zu kleinen Stellplätze auf dem Hof sind...

"Zweck der Übernachtung war, eine allzu frühe Anfahrt in den Raum Malchin zu vermeiden, so dass das Hotel Marcus den Zweck hatte, eine verhältnismäßig günstige Nacht in der Gegend verbringen zu können. Für diesen Zweck ist das Hotel sehr gut geeignet, ich habe mich immer wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war gut, das Personal nett.
