The hotel stay overall was fine. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, even helped us carry our luggage up several stairs as there is no elevator. Also provided us a nice dinner reservation. The room was small, and crossing the street from the parking was a bit dangerous.

Super Aufenthalt mit kleinen Mängeln.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Leider war bei uns der Safe und die Lüftung im Bad kaputt. Der Besitzer das Hotels war allerdings sehr bemüht, die Dinge zu beheben. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr schön und das selbstgemachte Frühstück extrem lecker.

Una chicca di albergo: pulitissimo, confortevole, arredamento moderno e familiare, camere silenziose e molto ben isolate dai rumori della vicina strada. Personale attento, gentile e amichevole. Hotels.com local info on a beach within 220 metres is out of date as it’s not open any more. Recently modernised, and with all the mod cons. Lovely little town, with not many choices, but all good ones. Great little garden bar (al Castile) and pisciatore restaurant next door.

Very nice hotel

My husband and I were in town for a race. Andrea was very welcoming and helpful. He answered all of our questions with kindness and patience. He booked taxis for us and gave us suggestions on where to eat. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here, especially because of Andrea.

A 10 out of 10 place to stay

This is a truly lovely place to stay and just a few steps away from one end of the Rilke trail. Andreas cooks a wonderful home made breakfast with warm foccassia, fritatta, homemade breads and cakes and great antipasti. He will also give you reliable and friendly advice on how to find and enjoy the locality. It's a 10 out of 10 kind of place to stay.

Wir wollten auf unserer Heimreise nach einem Kurzurlaub noch in Duino am Strand essen und buchten daher eine Übernachtung in diesem Hotel. Wir waren angenehm überrascht, wie freundlich und kompetent wir vom Hoteleigentümer selbst empfangen wurden, die Zimmer sind am neuesten Stand der Technik, alles wurde uns erklärt und gezeigt, Badezimmer groß genug und sauber, einzig den Fernseher konnten wir nicht in Gang bringen, andere Zimmernachbarn auch nicht (Fußball-WM!!) Frühstück um € 8,- liebevoll hergerichtet, mit selbst gemachtem Kuchen und anderen Köstlichkeiten. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

Spotless, perfectly kept but cramped

The room was very cramped with a single window facing the road. The bathroom has none. If you are ok with air conditionig the room is beautiful but if you are in need of fresh air not so much. Since the only place outside is a little patch of grass in the parking lot I felt a little constrained. The room is very modern and spotless. There are USB plug in the wall and the lights and AC are activated with the magnetic card. Desk personel was very professional and friendly.
