"Nice old hotel, I like staying at these grand old hotels when possible! Very welcoming and friendly staff, car park was small but they found me the last spot when I arrived in the evening later than planned. I was hoping to use the electric car chargers but these were occupied by contract guests so arrive early or perhaps arrange with them beforehand if your electric car is nearly out of juice! Very handy feature to have, even better if I'd been able to use it!"

"Really impressed with the quality across all areas from accommodation to public areas to dining facility and menu, and last but not least, the breakfast room and options. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will be back."
"Breakfast good. Free parking ideal. Condition of room terrible. No heater. We tried 2 rooms and mattress were terrible in both. Shower leaked permanently. Very difficult to have a restful sleep there."

6/10 Okay
"Staff were overall unhappy looking, and certainly not welcoming. I'm also disappointed that there was no food offer available. The bar no longer serves food and the restaurant appeared closed. On the plus side, the wifi is fast and reliable. "
