"Stayed in a King suite. beautiful room, bath, fireplace frig and large balcony overlooking the harbor. Underground parking garage, staff friendly and helpful. Great location. Gladly would stay again."

"The continental breakfast spread was wonderful (they get everything from a local fancy bakery) and also had gluten free options. Just note it is not available until 7:30 am. The ocean view rooms were beautiful and my daughter slept on the pull of couch and was very comfortable. The real wood fireplace was a nice touch and they delivered a wood kindling bag to light every day. The terrace was beautiful with an almost 180 view of the ocean. Wild life was fun to watch, we saw blue Herron, seals, sea lions, lions, bunnies ect. We walked and got chowder next door which was a nice busy seafood place. There are a pair of black birds that dive bomb you when you enter the hotel. We think there was a nest near by, so be careful! Overall a great experience and only 35 min from SFO."

"Visited for a long weekend with my S.O. in February 2026. This place was very nice. Our room had a fireplace and nice seating in front of the TV. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful served up hot in the room. B&B was right across the street from the ocean and a block away from a very nice restaurant which we dined at twice. It is walking distance to all downtown amenities and additional restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend and stay again."

"This was my first time staying here and the place is cute and very close to the shops. Upon arrival there was no one available for check in as advertised on the website and the front door. I also called the phone number on the website and the front door has posted to which no one answered. Thank goodness for a housekeeper and groundskeeper that called the owner (Sandra) to ask what is going on since several families were standing outside to check in. After 2 hours they did an over the phone check in. I spoke with the owner to express my disappointment and she told me if I don’t like it I can go somewhere else then proceeded to hang up on me. I noticed in the common area there was a phone with an answering machine and I see there is 49 calls with messages that has not been answered. After checking the reviews more extensively I’m seeing this is not uncommon at this establishment, as it has happened before. I definitely will not return and I highly recommend other more accommodating hotels in the area. I will say the staff was incredible under the circumstances but didn’t appear to be surprised at the time of the incident. "

"The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is VERY convenient to downtown Half Moon Bay - right in the middle of some stores. Great for walking to restaurants and shopping. It was very quiet while we were there but I don't know about weekend noise. There is no staff on the premises but they did response to our phone calls to resolve a few minor problems. We paid for parking which was nice for coming and going. "
