"Location of the resort is great. The beach is not really a beach, more a like a seawall with a couple of entrances into the water on the side. Very few muskoka chairs that are taken by guests super quickly. A nice boat dock you can watch sunset from, that was really nice. "We were in Huntsville for dance competitions for the weekend. Luckily we only were here one night. We booked the King bed and pull out sofa for two adults and one child. The goal was to utilize the pull out sofa which didn’t work. The hotel front desk man came to try to help. Whoever used it before us got the mattress stuck and it wouldn’t properly open. Staff are changed compare to last time I was there. They are now new comers from Pakistan and India with minimum knowledge about their responsibilities. "We stayed in the big cottage with a view of the water. It was clean and tidy and the location was amazing. The air conditioning was very welcome, and the kitchen was useful. Beds/chairs/sofa were comfortable. The cottage is a little rickety, with a sloping floor. But it was a fun, nostalgic vibe. A bit pricey for what it was, in my opinion. Swimming off the shore/dock was very pleasant."

"Trying to even find a place at the office to check in was nearly impossible without walking a staircase. Balcony and stairway in desperate need of upgrading. When entering the entrance carpet looked like there was mud and whatever else was on it. The entrance door was dirty. Do bad we left and got a room down the road for the same price. Was told I would not get my money back but it was worth it just to get out of there"

"This is a nice place for a gettaway and if you have kids even better. The beach is very nice. Not crowed and the water is sublime. You can wade out 100 feet or more and the water is at your waste or lower. The Kayaks and Canoes are nice to have. I went out most days in a Kayak. The staff are mainly young students but they are very nice and attentive. The pool is ok nothing special but great for kids. For seniors or those with mobility issues you might want to think twice about this...

"The room was nice redone. You can not open the drapes which is depressing . The bathtub had very visible mold around the tile. The shower head needs a deep clean. No ventilation in the bathroom so it holds the moisture. No coffee pot in the room. When I arrived it was just before my 3:00 check the guy at the desk was rude about it.
