"I recently stayed at Comfort Suites and unfortunately, my experience did not match the expectations set by the main floor. The lobby area was very clean and had a pleasant smell, which gave us the impression that the rest of the property would be the same — but that was not the case. The hallway on the second floor had a strong, humid, musty odor that was very unpleasant. When we entered our room, things only got worse. "They downgraded our room although the reservation was confirmed and paid in full. Upon arrival they simply stated they were sold out - although they were paid in advance. I asked for accommodations and were never given them. Shower walls had grout. Pillow cases had orange stains - so we had to take them off since no one would come. Few of the towels were old and worn. The room was not upgraded and had brown peppercorn sheeting. The Westin here in Michigan is more up to date and clean. Staff were...
