"Solar da Capela is very clean hospitable family hotel. They went out of their way to assist. We came to Sao Padro de Sul mainly for Thermal pools. We went to many places where we enjoyed thermal pools for a whole day, but this place only allow one hour at high price. This kills small hotel business. "This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. "Breakfast was a bit shambolic. Scrambled egg, bacon, mushrooms and sausage for a cooked option is lacking somewhat. Even with such little hot selection it was rarely replenished meaning a wait. When the hotel is full, they'll never cope with thr size of the kitchen and the restaurant. That was the only disappointing thinking. Other than that, a faultless stay. "
