"I was surprised that I had to pay for parking. In the hotel description this wasn’t mentioned. It stated that parking was available and it was a large parking area that had many parking spaces that were empty. In the hotel description they should either mention that there is a charge for parking or they should build it into the room fee. I don’t like add on fees that are not mentioned online.
The hotel should also install a safety bar/ handgrip in the shower. My wife slipped in the bath tub and almost fell when getting out of the shower."
"Very good hotel in walking distance to the Elora Mill and downtown Elora
Clean room, comfortable bed. Very dated but good choice for location. Coffee, juice and fruit in the lobby and Tim’s walking distance. Good safe parking. "
"Everyone room is unique. The check-in experience was very unique with the worker pouring Prosecco for us and showing us our room.
Samantha, our waiter for breakfast, greet us warmly and explain the menu fully. She even showed us another part of the building where there is a pub."
"The staff were always friendly no matter where you wondered. The lobby was full of light with opportunity to sit and watch TV. The breakfasts were full of variety on the buffet and à la carte the eggs Benedict was delicious. The pool area overlooked the golf course and felt tropical. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the golf course and ponds and the trees which spread from left to right. Even on a rainy day it was nature at its best. Early check in with bottle of wine for my Birthday"
"Hotel served its purpose but is a little tired. Breakfast is okay as a grab and go, could do with adding some Oats maybe and some less sugary cereal. "
"If ur looking for a clean room and comfy bed and pillows, this is a good choice. I however was expecting a bit more with a suite as this was my respite weekend so I went for rest and relaxation. The heating unit was so loud I felt like I was next door to a big construction truck on idle all day and night. And why have a kitchenette if there are no dishes or cutlery. Why have a sink when there is no soap or dishcloth. If u want a tea or coffee it’s not in your room, you have to go to the lobby. So no grabbing a cup of tea if u can’t sleep in the middle of the night. There are better hotels for the money that I have stayed at. "
