"Had a relaxing stay overall. Friendly staff in lobby,spacious clean rooms with good clothes storage and comfortable beds. Nice to find hairdryer,iron and ironing board in the room. Good sized bathroom with lovely toiletries. Cooked breakfast at 9.30am was cold on our first morning and after microwaving our food,the warmers were switched on by a member of staff. Breakfast was on til 11am but the warmers were off. Breakfast was only warmer on our 2nd day as some trays were empty and freshly cooked food had to be waited for. Pastries,breads and cheeses were good as was the coffee. Nowhere in the information i received or on the hotels website was it specified that the pool was not hotel specific. I thought i was booking a hotel with its own pool & spa for residents. It was a leisure centre attached to the hotel which was open to the public. On going for a swim,half the very small pool was cordoned off for swimming lessons. Managed to do a little swimming but couldn't use the only 2 heated loungers as there were children on them who were not staying in the hotel. Kind of disappointed slightly as it wasn't what i thought and would have preferred it to have been exclusive to hotel residents. The spa was very very good though. Massage & reflexology was well worth it. Relaxing atmosphere in the spa and felt chilled out after treatments. Not a bad stay overall. Would consider staying again."

"The building is clean inside and out. The staff are very kind and the are rooms provide ample space. The price$ is right,the place is right and everything around it is alright. Several eateries Within walking distance, furthermore; the main bus line is directly out front. "

"So paying for a room isnt enough you got to chip in extra for parking. Not mentioned in advert, only highlighted when i checked in. Staff did help but its a touch nefarious to ask for extra money upon arrival. Stayed here few times over the past few years and it is a good hotel, hence being a repeat customer. Maybe wont again as I dont like being ambushed with additional costs. "

"Practically no noise isolation from the street where the music was blasting until 1am. Had very poor sleep. A day before arriving I had noticed several messages in the app asking me to confirm my stay “within 24h or my booking will be released” (aka cancelled). I had not received notifications for those and the times had passed. I shouldn’t need to confirm a booking that has already been confirmed. I’m not even sure if these messages were legitimate or scams in which case the hotel should increase its IT security. Receptionist had trouble finding my booking. Afterwards when she did, she had trouble finding that it was paid for. I had to prove it myself and she still was not convinced. Finally, the hotel itself is very simple, definitely not a 5 star hotel. It is no better (or worse) than the likes of Premier inn or travelodge. In fact in those you are guaranteed to have a good nights sleep because they make that a priority, whereas here there is no noise isolation."
