"We stayed here for 2 nights (Oct 18–20) with our 6-month-old baby and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, with two comfortable queen beds. Having a microwave and mini fridge in the room was a huge plus for us since we brought our own food and needed to prepare baby bottles. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly, and the location is perfect — close to Gaylord's attractions and an easy drive to Boyne Mountain. For the price, this hotel is excellent value. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Perfect location for a fall weekend getaway! The staff was available and very friendly when needed, I love that there was no wait for check in/out as it was all done with emails and codes! The bonfire, games and lounge area was another cute addition. TORCH LAKE IS BEAUTIFUL and it’s only walking distance from your room. We will definitely be back."

"The hotel was clean and it was nice with the pool and hot tub. There was no hot water in the morning- and the breakfast attendant was rude to customers, but I would stay here again as it was in the middle of where we were traveling."

"Perfect for a night on the road, traveling through Michigan. Clean room, quiet, nice linens, spacious room. We did not have the breakfast, but it was included. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use that either."

"Stayed for a working weekend. Had clients come to the hotel for meetings. There was sufficient private common areas to meet to discuss business. Our room and the hotel was very clean. Beds are unbelievable comfortable! Loved the fitness center, small but sufficient for my daily goal walking needs on the treadmill. Will stay again."

"Desk staff was incredibly friendly and personable. The only thing I noticed was the bathroom was very small and the hot and cold faucets were reversed, making it a challenge to get the water temperature one expects."

"Very clean and well appointed! The beds are comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna or cold plunge but they looked nice! Close to Bellaire and Mammoth (which is my fav as I don’t drink beer or cider so Short’s really isn’t the appeal to me for drinks). There’s other places too. All within walking distance. They asked that we put trash outside, pile towels on floor (which I do anyway) but I shouldn’t have to worry about trash at all for what we paid. It also looks a tad junky to have trash bags outside a door on check out day! I would re-think that policy. I loaded the dishwasher with the very few things we used (just coffee mugs and the coffee pot carafe and brew basket/filter) but I couldn’t start it and honestly, I didn’t want to keep messing with it! I’m We would stay here again for sure!"
