They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. "Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. "The room was lovely and clean. The air con in the room was very much appreciated given the fact it was so hot when we visited! Staff were so lovely and friendly. The grounds and lovely and safe, so our kids could wander around and feel a bit more independent even though we could still see them. Lovely, quiet pool, and the kids loved the peacocks!"
