"After we checked in @ the front desk we went to our room & immediately noticed the TV was programmed in Spanish & the closed captioning was not working at all. We both speak English & my wife is deaf so the close captioning is a NECESSITY for her & not a luxury. I went to front desk asap & had another one of the employees come to fix this problem. He couldn’t get the remote control to properly program the TV so he went downstairs to the get a new remote control. He came up to the room with a new remote but that didn’t fix the problem. The original person we checked into the hotel said that she would try to find us a room that had a properly functioning TV in English with the close captioning working. She located a similar room but upon turning on the TV in that room the identical issue of the TV programmed in Spanish and no functioning closed caption occurred in this room as well. I asked this front desk employee what other options she might have but nothing was offered. I asked her if I could get a refund for the lack of access to a TV with closed captioning since the property had advertised this on the 3rd party website . She said I’d have to talk to the manager @ check out the following morning. Upon checking out I personally spoke to the manager who stated that since I made the reservation through a 3rd party website she could not make any refunds or adjustments. She stated that I would have to contact them myself. Lack of compassion for people with hearing disabilities "

"The hotel was clean in every place we went-- lobby, stairwell, hallways, and the room itself. The bed was comfortable, the thermostat was easy to work, and the window shade blocked out all the light. It's off the main roads, and even though there's a train track behind the property, the outside noise was minimal. The room was quiet, and even though there were strong odors in the hallway, emanating from other rooms, they didn't travel into the room. Everything in the room was in good condition, even if it wasn't brand-new. It was a clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay for one night. "

"Very nice room. The resturant and bar are excellent and have a very relaxing atmosphere overlooking the golf course. My only complaint is I requested my room be next to a traveling companion, and face the golf course, which they acknowledged would be done, and in fact I received a communication that it was in fact done. However when I checked in, not only were the rooms not next to each other, they were on opposite sides of the hotel. I brought this up to the front desk and was assured the manager would address the issue. By the time I checked out, Is till did not receive any feed back, and as of this writing the Hotel, and, or manager has not responded to me. That I find complete;y unacceptable. It was a simple request made well in advance, and to screw it up and not acknowledge the mistake leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I just hope thi is not an indication of declining customer service."
