"I travel to Cleveland frequently for work. This was the first & last time staying here. I paid $250/night for a room with a non-working AC unit. I went to the desk to ask them about it, they told me it was “motion activated.” I went back to my room & walked around for a few minutes - still nothing. Looked around & couldn’t find any sensors. Called down to the desk & they offered to send an engineer to check it out…at 9:30PM. I had to ask to be moved to another room, in which they acted like that was the most difficult thing they had to do. The new room had a working AC, but not a great one. I live in a large city so the outside noise didn’t bother me, but if you aren’t used to it then I could see the street noise being bothersome. The hallway noise was annoying. There’s a several inch gap from the door to the floor so you hear EVERYTHING in the hallway. It had a good view, but not worth staying here at all. I didn’t trust all the reviews I read about the staff, but they were right…"
"The front desk employees were rude. They advised we had free breakfast but then made us pay. Housekeeping didn’t switch out my towels or make my bed but did it for my family members who came with me. Valet never greeted us and didn’t check in our car on different days"
"From check in to check out the staff was amazing. Has a hiccup with the fridge not working in the room and they made it right immediately. We had paid for the made to order breakfast for our entire stay and it was very very good and the waiter was wonderful. We were hoping to have some pool time but it was under maintance which is understandable since it was just opening up for the season. That did not effect our stay or the review because things happen. We will definitely stay again."
"Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was not just your typical continental breakfast with a few pastries, this was a full on eggs, sausage, biscuits and fruit. Coffee was fantastic. The staff incredibly friendly whether at the front desk or cleaning up the breakfast area. We had a parking snafu when the confirmation text would not come through and the staff were more than helpful ensuring are parking was taken care of.
Hotel is within walking distance of several places to see and excellent restaurants.
Would definitely stay here again."
