"Lovely vibe, relaxing and functional. Excellent staff, I was helped with my bags. The room was a little cold int he evening and I couldn’t find the phone number for reception to ask how to turn on the radiators. Rugs on the floor would be lovely to step out of bed onto. Food all delicious."

"Nice rooms over a pub. Stayed here for convenience of getting to the Isle of Wight ferry. Very helpful staff. Good food and drinks Traveling with heavy luggage, beware- No elevator. Staff will help carry it! Would stay here again. "

"Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. "Check in was easy. I was greeted at the front entrance after ringing the bell. The front door remains locked and only opened by your room key or from the inside which makes for a safe secure feeling. Parking is free and right outside the main door with ample spaces surrounding a lovely grassed area with wooden benches and trees. "Staff was truly amazing and so welcoming."

"I absolutely loved my stay at Lady Hamilton! I was in town for the historic dockyard and was thrilled to find a room in a historic pub! They were were helpful with my check in time (which was out of normal hours due to a delayed flight etc etc). The room was very spacious and The bed was comfortable. "The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. "Everything was really good with our stay at Walhampton Arms last night! We were welcomed when we arrived to check in! We ate our dinner in the restaurant (I really like the small portions available for people like us who have smaller appetites) and breakfast was brilliant this morning!
