Great Location and Good Breakfast

Great location. We spent three nights here and never needed a car. We came in by train. We were close to downtown and walked everywhere. The room was comfortable and the breakfast fixed to our requests. It was quiet. Clean. All good.

La habitación estaba bien, con lo indispensable para pasar un par de noches. Estaba un poco lejos del pleno centro pero bien comunicado con el transporte público y en una zona con bares y restaurantes cercanos.

Mycket trevlig personal, väldig hjälpsamma. Vi fick ett trevligt familjerum med burspråk i lugnt område. Engelsk frukost som tillagades på beställning. 10 minuters promenad från centrum. Bra wi-fi. Rekomenderas.

Fint lille gæstehus, med flink hjælpsom og meget venligt vært, gæstehuset ligger tæt på centrum og der er fine busforbindelser lige uden for døren. Fint morgenbord:-)

Waar voor de prijs die betaalt!

De kamer is sober ingericht en zou iets groter mogen zijn. Met 2 grote koffers is het een beetje behelpen. Het bed zou iets breder mogen. De eigenaar is uiterst vriendelijk en hartelijk. De kamer is schoon.

Great place to stay

Great visit to Edinburgh. The host is fantastic and always helping out with anything that you need. Only minus is that we needed to share our duvet.

Cosy, clean and pleasant stay

Staff and service was great, very kind and pleasent treatment. Location is a little bit further than the city central (30 mins walk) however super easy to reach by bus (10 min bus ride). Rooms were clean and cosy, morning breakfast was a nice treat. Definantely recomend.

Zu Fuß kommt man gut ins Stadtzentrum

Leider war zum Edinburgh Tattoo viel ausgebucht bzw. teuer. Das Hotel und der Service sind gut. Leider haben wir beim Buchen nicht darauf geachtet, dass wir ein Gemeinschaftsbad/-dusche haben. Ist nur bei ein paar Zimmern. Für 2 Nächte ging es. War auch alles sehr sauber. Bus fuhr direkt vor der Tür. Parken direkt vor der Tür für 10 Pfund, teuer.

Keeping the Light On

Awesome stay! We arrived well after midnight to find the lights on in the dining room and the owner awaiting our arrival. He quickly got us in the door and off to bed...then greeted us the following morning with an awesome Scottish breakfast! That's fantastic customer service! The room was awesome! The bed was comfortable and there is also a great restaurant on the corner (The Piecebox) that is open almost all day. Very walkable location. We'll definitely stay here again!
