From our place at Sea Palms to the pool was a short walk. Pool and groud were clean. Nice security guards at the entrance. Most every kitchen utensil you would need was available. Bathrooms had liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner available. Plenty of clean towels, separate towels for the pool. Assortment of pillows for the beds. Everything was clean.

Amazing relaxing get away

amazing place for a get away! The island is very relaxing and beautiful. This is not a place if you are looking for fast food or shopping!! The condo was beautiful and very clean.

I would have loved to give this room all high scores. The room was outstanding, the staff was friendly. I asked for a handicap accessible room and it was. The elevator did not work and we were given a third floor room. My 69 year old sister cried because she had to climb the stairs. She would not leave the room until it was time to leave. Because of the proximity to the beach I would skip this island altogether if mobility is an issue.

The location was good and the accommodations were great. The only difficulty was understanding the check in process and the room wasn't ready on time. We waited an extra 30 minutes and had to go back to the check in desk because no one notified us that it was ready.

This is a very nice property. The apartment is spacious, clean and can comfortably accommodate 6. The kitchen was well appointed and beds were perfect. I was visiting Edisto for an event so didn’t use the pool or other facilities on site, but they looked nice. I’ll definitely stay again.

Great weekend away

Great weekend getaway. The free mini golf the kids loved. If we were to stay a few days we would definitely rented a golf cart as it would have been easier to get to and from the beach. Seeing we rented the Wyndham crew attempted us to get us to sit for a 90 min preso to try to book our own timeshare. But once we finished he provided us his cell and told us to reach out if we had any issues.

It's a timeshare

Felt a little blindsided when I got there and was immediately hit with timeshare sales pitch. The complex called and texted multiple times over the course of my stay to get me to do the full sales tour. I don't come to hotels.com for timeshare presentation stays. Room was fine, comfortable. Amenities were nice. Beach is very clean. Building sways in the slightest wind.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly. There were some minor cosmetic things like chipping paint. The dishwasher was not secured and tipped each time we opened it. It was also very noisy when it ran and the dishes did not all come clean.

Loved the property and the resort and all the amenities. Close to beaches and restaurants. Beautiful area. We only had one problem. The toilet was not working well. We had to flush it 2-3 times to make it go down the drain. Guy came out one day and said it was fixed, but it kept causing problems. Other than that it was great!

Cleanliness was great, nothing out of order. Thoughts: Why laundry detergent, but nothing for the dishwasher? Excellent coffee! Striker plate on front door is about to fall off, only needs a couple of 2" screws. As it is, an 8 year old could kick it open. Deadbolt on back door doesn't work at all - lockset problem.

When we arrived to check in power went out and we had to wait on maintenance to let us in the room and then were told by maintenance that if we went out we had to be back by 10pm in order to get back in if the power was still out. We left for dinner and because it was getting hot in the unit. The power came back in while we were out and they had come to the room to deliver the keys. There is a dip in the floor in the kitchen that needs to be looked at also. The ice maker ran all night and we had 5 ice cubes the next morning. Also we ended up parking on the side of the building there was a car parking in what looked like our spot of 668B and 1 was in 689 . Thank you staff was friendly overall.

Overall the property was “OK”, just. Third floor apartment with no elevator meant we left our luggage in the car and took items up and down the two flights of stairs as we needed them. Two units per floor implies 4 cars minimum yet there was undercover parking for two families only. Off site pool users used the parking at times. Don’t go when busy. If the other apartment user is slightly deaf or has a hacking cough, then expect a lot of noise through the “party door” between the apartments. The TV can be VERY LOUD. WiFi disappears after 10pm and before 8am. It is not password protected despite what it say in the booklet and is therefor unsecure. Be warned, you are continuously harassed by Whyndam sales staff to come to presentations. Even though you have bought the stay, full price, not won it in a lottery, you are still treated as timeshare bait. Apart from that, the place was spacious, clean and well equipped.
