Casa Hrisicos
10/10 Excellent
"Location is one of the main attractions for this boutique hotel. With that comes the drawback of the hordes of tourists roaming around the square where this hotel is located. However, even with a street facing room, noise is well filtered by the double pane windows. Rooms are modern decorated, large enough to accommodate a king size bed, bathrooms are nice and fairly spacious. Beds are comfortable. Lack of private parking could be an issue if you drive, so plan for finding a spot close by. You can drive very close to the hotel entrance and unload your luggages, and then find parking. There are stairs to the main entrance door and more stairs to the lobby area. From there, an elevator will take you to the second floor if needed. The reception is not manned overnight and there’s no bellboy service. Plan ahead! If all these are not a detriment, enjoy your stay in the middle of “action”!"

"Overall a nice hotel. Rooms are updated, clean and have new fixtures. But, they are on the small size for a king or full double beds. The bathroom is small, with a double shower head. One complaint we had is related to the mattresses. While they’re foam based, they’re extra firm and apparently they can’t provide any toppers to ease the firmness. Room being small (standard double), the A/C is loud and even turned off, still has a constant hissing noise."

"For a four star hotel not much service. Maintenance almost inexistent (broken lavatory, broken shower door and toilet seat. If you want to have a nice cocktail or any drink at the rooftop bar or the one at first floor just go to a different place."

"This hotel was in a fabulous location in the middle of everything — literally surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel room contained anything you would ever need, such as vanity kits, shower caps, a desk, a couch, a coffee table, etc. It was large and spotless. I would stay here again for sure. Unfortunately, I had to check out early, so I missed the included breakfast. The hotel building itself is beautiful and historic. So pretty when lit up at night."

"Excellent location - very close to the beach while not far from the town centre. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked each morning with good buffet spread and choice. Room was clean and comfortable, though the carpet and some of the furniture shows deep marks and stains of wear and tear. Towels and bed linen also well used and thinned/torn with wear in places. Shower cabin very small - impossible not to touch the walls or the curtain when showering. Toilet and water pipes a bit smelly, had to keep the extractor fan on and the door open to keep it dry and vented. Perhaps a stronger extractor fan and some toilet and air fresheners would help. Staff is friendly, helpful and responsive."
