"Wonderful hotel and great location. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience - we got to see Aurora Borealis!! Thanks to the "wake up" option provided upon check-in. We received a phone call the night of April 8th and WOW! Once in a lifetime experience."

"Lack of empathy. After being stuck in 2 blizzard storms with weather warning alerts and road closures on 2 days, there was no way to reach the hotel on check-in date. Other hotels and Airbnb graciously agreed to cancel our booking due to the extenuating weather related circumstances. But this property has no empathy for customers and refuses even a partial refund and blame it on customer for not wanting to make the long drive even if it is not safe for customer to do so. inflexible policies on the part of certain business establishments such leaves a bad impression"

"Beautiful hotel, great location. Need more amenities such as shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo and body soap combined and thats all they had in the shower. Otherwise everything was amazing."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. "
