Great hotel, underground parking and nice breakfast

I had expected from the Expedia website that the hotel was close to Munich airport. Instead it was a €45 taxi ride for which I was not pleased. However the hotel and staff were absolutely lovely.

I've stayed here before and booked again for a reason. Tha staff are brilliant and the general atmosphere of the hotel miss fantastic, the spa is another level and I've not seen better. Rooms are great if you avoid the basic ones which are a little cramped and dare I say it soon need some refreshing..generally they are good..if you can get an upgrade (or afford) a junior suite you will be very happy. during my stay there was an air-conditioning issue that resulted in a water leak. For the budget end of the Holiday Inn range this is an excellent hotel. Good location for the Hirschgarten park and Backstage concert venue. Easy to access via Sbahn, Ubahn and bus. What did confuse me at first was the 1st floor, which i was on is DOWN from reception. Will be looking at again in the future

Excellent hotel and very comfortable in the old town. Rooms were on the smaller side but this is to be expected given the location.

Stopped here because of its proximity to the Olympic park and a concert we were going to there; and it was an excellent choice. We went on to spend 2 weeks touring Austria, Switzerland and Italy; and this was easily the best hotel we stayed in. Pretty sure the band we went to see stopped here too :-) The room was modern, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was superb with a great choice of hot and cold items. Probably the best we had during our 2 weeks away. All the staff were really good...

Stayed for 2 nights as a family in the suite rooms. The ambience, staff friendliness and size of the rooms were excellent. The breakfast was good and also had our needs taken care of. All in all, if you are driving this is an excellent to stay in. Onsite parking is ample and easy to use.

A fantastic small hotel. Not centrally located, but with Munich’s excellent public transport, this was never a problem. Staff were unbelievably good. The area around the hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely room and very helpful staff.

Nice rooms with very helpful staff in an excellent area.

Great location.Breakfast great. Staff helpful and efficient. Impeccable service. Room standard excellent and cool when walked in from the hot weather. Best hotel shower ever had too. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff very helpful, really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel, feels very modern and new. Location is amazing, about 15 mins from the city centre on the tram which is right outside the hotel. It has great amenities and restaurants around it too. We were upgraded for free which was a really nice surprise. Parking is relatively expensive at 30 euros a day but you are in Munich and there are free alternatives around it if you have the time and patience to find them. If we ever stay in Munich again we will not look anywhere else but to stay at...

This was my 6th visit to Munich and the surrounding areas, looks like I rolled a lucky 6 on the dice for this one From the main entrance and reception to your room via the excellent restaurant and bar exceptional friendliness from the staff at all points The next morning again friendly staff at breakfast and from the room service staff Superb meals and fantastic breakfast choices Will definitely be back next year or before if I get the chance one of the best hotels I have stayed in

This is our second time in the hotel , 8 years apart, the hotel is impeccable and very well maintained. Great area, perfect for a city break and very good for a family. Will recommend and hopefully will be back.
