"It's hard to get past the fact its the only major hotel in the city. It's old style design needs a major upgrade. The bedrooms are 3 star, not 4. The lamp shade in my room 1314, was crumbling and should have been replaced years ago. The fridge door was covered in grotty stickers, some partly scratched. The bath area had mould which needs removing."
"Everything was going well until I had an issue at the restaurant. After I paid for my meal, the staff returned without my full change and said they didn’t have any. This kind of situation is far too common and often feels like a deliberate way of shortchanging customers. I wasn’t pleased, and I made it clear that I would have gladly tipped more than the amount withheld. Service providers can and should do better. Customers shouldn’t have to ask for their exact change, no matter how small"
