"Should have opened at 4pm. 30 degs out in the sun waiting until 4.30pm to check-in. Manage apologised but it was not a good start. Room had no bed lamps, toilet paper, TV or chair. Very basic. "

So easy right off the highway, great parking, could walk to Almansa, grocery store nearby, wifi worked well, great & hot shower, clean room, nice staff. All the things a traveler hopes for and more. The website does definitely state its rural, so it warns you, but it does also mention that its just 2 buses from Alicante airport, and fails to mention the one hour and 10 minute walk from castalla to the hotel. Totally worth it, beautiful hotel to set up a retreat for yourself for a couple days, but people might struggle in the heat woth the walk if planning on taking buses"
