"Cucuve was our home for our first five nights on Santa Cruz Island. Conveniently located just minutes to Charles Darwin Street and lots of shops and restaurants. This was the cleanest and best-managed hotel I have ever stayed at. The manager shows extreme care in every aspect of the hotel maintenance and cleaning. The room was large and comfortable. Laundry service was convenient and inexpensive, but walking across the street will save you 70% if you take the laundry out yourself. Highly recommended!!!!"

"My stay was amazing. From first entering the lobby where guest and staff were gathered to watch Ecuador advance in the World Cup. To the wonderful breakfast served by fantastic people. Front desk staff who help coordinate day trips, call taxi and provide great restaurant recommendations"

"Sometimes you go to a place where they make you feel like family. Thats how we felt at Maidith. Elvira and Carlos, the proprietors, were kind, helpful, and just all around amazing people. The hotel is definitely one of the best….the Gaudi inspired architecture is so lovely. The room was spotless our entire stay. The shower was hot and the AC was cold. The hotel is close to everything! 10/10"

"This hotel is conveniently booked close (but not too close) to the busiest parts of Santa Cruz- so you can get around easily, but it’s not too loud. The only noise to be aware of is the school nearby- which we found endearing and not disruptive. There is a simple but tasty breakfast offered. And the staff were helpful in arranging a taxi for an early morning check out. A fun but sometimes disruptive part of the rooms are the hammocks- but even when it got in the way, I still enjoyed the character it brought to the room. Overall, I’d recommend!"

"The staff and service are exceptional! The venue cannot be beaten. It’s the only place with a private beach. They have complementary water taxis that take you everywhere. When we got off our boat, they were waiting for us without us, even having to notify them. Definitely would recommend this hotel again."

"Amazing brand new 1 year old property and amazing people working g here at all the levels Great Hospitality delicious daily breakfast Brunch I would say Close to town and pier with multiple restaurants We would like to recognize ENRIQUE DENZEL KIM MADELINE BETZY GEREMIAS And team leader and owner Carlos helped us a lot to make our trip memorable Planning trip for 1 month next year to just relax and chill We stayed for 1 week total in owner’s DOCK HOUSE for 3 days 4 days in the brand new hotel on the Island next door Ajay Rupa"

"We had a wonderful stay in one of the villas here. I can't say enough about the staff - they were so helpful and welcoming, and went out of their way to look out for us. They helped us update our itinerary, put a small birthday surprise together for my wife, and their overall hospitality was top notch. The quiet, relaxed setting was a great fit for us. Highly recommend!"
