My advice would be to book a sea view room (away from the hustle and bustle of the evening and pool entertainment) and go half board to take advantage of the amazing food. the hotel is very nice; clean, tidy and the front desk staff are extremely courteous. the rooms are spacious and well presented and the restaurant is good with a varied selection for breakfast; i did not eat there through the rest of the day so can not comment on lunch or dinner. the pool i used was clean and there was plenty of space around for loungers and there were no children around, which is good if you want to relax as i did.
unfortunately the bar staff seemingly expect a tip with every...

I loved this place. Amazing location, just wow!. It is a big hotel with between 1-2,000 guests so feeding those numbers "All Inclusive" can't be an easy task. However, the food was just fabulous, and The Mandarin and The Canarian cuisine was just superb. This place exceeded my expectations and the vibe was excellent. The hotel is a little tired (built in 1972), but I loved it, the location, beach and catering were just excellent.

Have just returned from ten days at the Hisperia ,our second visit . A perfect stay, this hotel is lovely with a great location right by the beach of playa dorado, with the marina Rubicon one side and shops and restaurants the other. The pools are lovely and always plenty of sunbeds. The food is also good and you would be hard pushed not to find something you like, the desserts are particularly yummy . The staff are helpful and the rooms were kept spotless .
