"The hotel I stayed at was amazing, and I will return to it when I visit family again. They don't have a bellman because it's not that type of facility. Despite this, they assisted me with my luggage when I arrived and left. Due to my disability, I am unable to lift my suitcase either from my car or within the hotel. Upon my arrival, they sent someone to assist me, and my suitcase was heavy. He came into my room and put it on the luggage rack. I have no idea what I would have done without their assistance."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rancho Cordova Sacramento
4/10 Poor
"The hotel was decent overall. I will say the lobby felt more modern compared to the Hyatt. We only stayed one night and had an event before 2 PM, so we requested early check-in, but they weren’t able to accommodate us due to how busy it was.
The room itself was fine—nothing special—but the hallways had a noticeable cigarette smell. Our bathtub looked worn down, and when we tried to turn on the water, there was barely any flow. We attempted to contact the front desk but didn’t get a response. The next morning, staff said they would reset it, but when we followed up, nothing had been done. Eventually, they moved us to a different room with a working shower."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Roseville-Galleria Area by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Lack of lighting. Nobody at the front desk answers the phone. The sound of traffic was loud all night and disrupted our sleep. The push carts were all wobbly. Not impressed. Guest kept knocking on our door and disappearing. Will not return."
"Overall very nice. With a kitchenette, there was nothing in silverware, plates, napkins, tissue, paper towels or anything like that. Maybe that is unreasonable to expect there would be anything other than clean bare cupboard and mini fridge. It also had a comically tiny “dining table” (I am assuming that’s what it was?). Maybe 2 feet long and a foot wide?"
