"The hotel had everything we needed and was nice and close to NASA (easy drive). But the staff here was what made it - they were super friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, giving great suggestions on where to eat and some handy local discounts. Breakfast was good and not too crowded - staff made a point of coming in, checking guests had everything they needed and entertaining the kids with small games. Would absolutely come back!"

"I always wonder about the cleanliness of the bedsheets, but Candlewood surprised me. My sheets were white and clean! There were no stains and no unwanted lint or hair. the front office staff and housecleaners were welcoming and friendly. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in La Porte. "
