"Halls need a paint job in the worst way. Food and bev options are nice. Room was fine. Walls are very thin and you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next to you. It’s a little above average airport hotel."

"Booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport which can’t be beat, however I notably did wait ( in the right location and called dispatch) for 50 + minutes for the hotel shuttle to arrive at the airport. My sheets were also damp. "

"Shuttle did not pass at airport stop at 2:00 for over 30 min early September 29, 2026. Ended up taking the Sonesta shuttle, and walking over. Room was okay near the air conditioning units so was a bit noisy. Windows NEED cleaning, very dirty and hard to see outside. The rest was good, comfy bed and nice shower."

"Our stay at Sonesta Select LAX was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean and quiet except for the airconditioner. The AC was a bit noisey and had a funny smell so we turned it off but then the room was too warm. All in all a good stay for the price."
