Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Marquette/Prairie du Chien
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very nice property. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The handicap shower was very large with a seat and adjustable shower head. Breakfast was the usual with eggs, sausage, tater tots and breakfast burritos, waffles, cereals, yogurt, toast and bagels. The only downfall is the parking lot is very small, and you may need to park on the street, also the trains run very close and do honk their horn. We have stayed here before and will again."
"We traveled to Galena spur of the moment and wound up landing in the middle of a fall festival. While an amazing time, accommodations were very sparing. We found this place, 100 dollars less than any hotel within an hours drive in any direction. A nice king size bed, COMFORTABLE! none of that spring-in-your-side stuff either. The hotel has a waffle breakfast and other hot choices, on the smaller side but appropriate for the guest traffic, we were alone in the facility. Let’s talk bathroom! If you dig water pressure and.. maybe.. oh, I don’t know.. A DOUBLE SHOWER HEAD!! look no further. The heater/ac worked well and kept the room tempered. It was quiet. I didn’t hear a door or foot step all night and I’m telling you if I would have been able to roll off the bed through the wall I would have been *in* the stairwell. Oh! This was cool. We checked in and they had a list of personal care items available incase you forgot them and it was a pretty nice spread, I don’t think I’ve seen something like that since maybe 2002? Very sweet sentiment. The key worked every time and the mechanism didn’t seem faulty or like it was bought off WISH (iykyk). I didn’t need to interact with the staff but they seemed attentive and cleaning the lobby/kitchen. I like to collect brochures from the hotel lobbies of new places we travel and right at the check in they had some for a whole Amish community with all kinds of businesses listed to patron. Very happy with this one!"
"Great place to stay. From check-in to check -out, our needs were fully met. Owner was very friendly and should be proud of his retreat. Will definitely return when back in the area."
