Ferry across river goes from here. Great pub -The Island which is a microbrewery.

I would say that the new apartment buildings have completely ruined the open spaces and views of the harbour previously experienced. The Bell Tower, which used to be one of the advertised views of Perth has disappeared amongst building sites.

Plenty of eateries in the area, though there is a lot of construction going on at the moment. A visit to the Bell Tower is a must.
