"When we arrived to check in there was nobody there. They had a remote kiosk. Very hard to understand the person operating the kiosk. Once in our room we noticed the floor that looked like it had water damage. The laminate was buckled and separating. After settling in I got out of bed to use the restroom. I killed several cockroaches on my way to the restroom and once I got in I killed more. Needless to say I did not sleep at all. We left the room at 5:00 am and went to the lobby to lodge a...

"Great views from the room, near many coastal hiking trails, near Point Arena for any necessities. The room has a small refrigerator & a microwave which is a plus. I have stayed here 3 times, twice in the Keeper’s Room."

"Older property, in need of a lot of work. However, the room was clean enough, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. I usually spend a lot more to get those same three features and decided to give this a try, I was pleased. Two additional pluses are that the coastal walking trail is only a few blocks away and a place called Giant Burger is also two blocks away. I honestly think the Double Cheese Giant Burger I had cannot be topped, best burger I’ve ever had."

"The only complaint I have is we arrived early, and although check-in was at 4:00, the person in the office said to come back at 3:00. We came back at 3:00, they checked us in and said they did not know if our room was ready, and to go check. We went to the room and it was still being cleaned so we came back at 5:30, and it was still not ready for us, and then back again a little after 6:00, and it was still not ready. I had to find a cleaning person, that could ask the person that was suppose...

"Only good thing about property is location. Cleanliness and overall room service is not up to the mark. Be sure not to leave any bags with valuable in bag. You can be up for surprise."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The view is fantastic. The staff extremely kind and friendly. Overall, the property is very quiet, quaint, and peaceful. It is an older hotel although everything is in good condition and very clean. The jacuzzi tubs are quite loud so we did not use them much. Also we did not try the coffee and pastries, but only because we are early risers, already going about our day by 8am. The town of Point Arena is a gem… we will be back!"

"It was very clean, and the room's colors were warm and inviting. The only downside was that the bathroom exhaust fan switch was broken."
