"While this is an older motel on the outside, the staff and cleanliness make the Thunderbird motel a great value. Free breakfast with Hot Coffee is always a plus. Within walking distance of the Star Hotel which has great Basque Food. Looking forward to staying here again the next time passing through Elko."

"Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and you can tell it's new. The people are very friendly and they do their job perfectly. They have a large and large parking lot. The hotel is very quiet and quiet. We slept like little angels. Perhaps the only thing that would improve a little is the cleaning of the bathroom floor. Nothing more to say or correct."

"No soap in the bathroom. Room was very clean, but smelled a little bit. I opened the windows and the smell dissipated in a few minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved their classic neon sign - seriously!"

"This property seems to be work housing for Union Pacific so is very minimal in amenities outside what's in your room. It was fine for my purposes but I was surprised by how little they had as far small lobby, no business center, no breakfast, no common area, etc. Price was fair given the dates stayed and room was comfortable."
