"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. "The staff was very friendly on arrival and had us checked in within minutes. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a twin room. One of the bed bases was broken but this was changed the same day as reported. The room was cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Coffee/tea was replaced daily and cups cleaned."

"From the moment we booked in the reception staff were very helpful and friendly,we had a refurbished room that was spacious and very clean,as there isn't any Aircon there was a free standing fan behind the door for us. The bed was large and very comfortable,the pillows could have been firmer. There was a good choice for breakfast, I'm a vegetarian and I wasn't left hungry again the staff were very friendly. We didn't stay in the hotel carpark,as we had read the reviews, and have a large car ,so stayed in the NCP which is next to the hotel. Would we stay again yes,as it was a short walk to the city centre and we needed to pass the Kittie cafe 😻 to get there. The hotel is beautiful decorated and very clean."

"This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"
