"Excellent location, really near the station. Many restaurants near by.
Not sure if it was the room I ordered but it was surprisingly spacious. Clean and very pleasant. Beds comfortable.
I was on my own so was going to watch a bit of TV…one English Channel on motorway cops. Dreadful! Read my book! Might be worth taking ear plugs, doors banging a bit.
Breakfast was excellent, far exceeded my expectations.
Found all staff helpful and friendly. Check in was 3pm, was early so left my bag and went for a wander. Totally met my needs, would recommend "

"Had an excellent view over the water from our 11th floor room. Impeccably clean lobby, hallway, and room in a very unique building.
Only stayed one night before our flight out in the morning, which was a very easy one hour drive away. "

"The cabins are small but fine for an overnight, the beds were very comfy and the bathroom is big with everything provided, they were spotless and the restaurant has good meals and a nice breakfast, the supermarket is walking distance for supplies. Great stop whilst driving."
"Stayed 7 nights in April with our son, 7 yo. It’s a ski in and ski out resort. There is a place behind hotel to rent skis if you need and you can get your ski pass online from ski star website which you can reuse in other resorts in Norway and Sweden. It’s such a relaxing place, we slept with windows open it was so quiet. The air was fresh and we also drank the tap water which is recommended. Hotel has plenty for kids: pool, fake surfing wave, bowling, kids play room, pool tables, ice hockey tables and arcade games. We had a car so went to Sweden for a day. The restsraunts are great lots of choice and you never need to be in a line. You can pre book on ski star website. Also there are restaurants on the pistes and they are as delicious and authentic. There is also a shop in the hotel if you forgot any snow gear. Pistes are great, something for everyone. We will be back !!! Thank you Trysil. "

"We stayed in cabin 17 - 2 bedroom chalet. It was just perfect, the cabin was modern, warm and super clean. Bed was really comfortable, bathroom with underfloor heating and a great shower. Kitchen with all the mid cons and things you would need to cook a meal. But the best of all is the beautiful view of the mountain and the river, it was so peaceful and serene. 10min to ski field. Highly recommend!"

If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive option for family trips.
