"Upon arrival, total chaos. Lots of yelling and complaining from about 15 costumers unhappy with the rooms’ allotments. It took a while to get rooms. Elevator broken. We had to carry suitcases up 3 floors, same yelling and disputes among some residents for space and line-ups, and between residents and management. Stale food. Some costumers handle food with bare hands then return it. The rooms are not in the best shape. Some residents leave clothing items on lawnchairs for the length of their stay...

recyclage de la nourriture, l'eau, les verres en plastique. toute la semaine on a les mêmes menus et desserts. Les assiettes. les verres et les couverts sales. les chambres pas bien nettoyées, les serviettes de bains arrivent toujours très tard dans la journée et jamais le bon nombre, ..... C'est un cauchemar."

"The hotel has an impressive reception area but the rooms are looking tired. Staff was ok, no particularly friendly but more towards the rude side. The are not enough chairs to see the live music shows at the lounge. We went in January, the outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was packed and the showers/changing areas were very small and basic. We borrowed the equipment from the reception to play tennis and mini golf but both sport areas looked abandoned and need refurbishment. We enjoyed the quiz night activity and the party on Friday night. We walked to the medina by the beach side in over one hour. Outside the hotel there are other options for dinner and have a cup of coffee. "
"This is not a 5-star luxury resort. While was likely impressive once, parts of the property now feel tired and run down.The room was clean and had the basics (toiletries, safe, hair dryer, fridge), but the fridge had a strong unpleasant smell.The room also smelled of cigarettes, which was unpleasant as a non-smoker.
The main grounds and pool were well maintained; however, other areas showed visible wear. There was lots of rubbish in some parts including the beach area, and the steam room had mould and paint peeling from the ceiling. The staff were extremely lovey in the spa.The beach bar was totally derelict and not in use, and the beach itself was never set up with loungers or staff none of which was mentioned at booking.
The all-inclusive options were limited, with similar meals daily and the exact same snacks served.
Almost all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially housekeeping, reception and restaurant staff. However, the repeated sales pitches became uncomfortable. Providing written information with prices in rooms would allow guests to decide without feeling pressured and then they can ask the representatives.
My last transfer arranged by the hotel. The driver asked me to get out and check if it was the correct drop off , he was more focused on immediate payment than ensuring I was safely in the right place. Perhaps due to a language barrier but as a solo female this was very uneasy. "

"Amazing stay at El Mouradi Palace, Sousse! Stayed Jan 2–18 for my honeymoon and a small party—everything was perfect. Great staff, highly trained managers, excellent security, beautiful rooms, and the food was outstanding (very experienced chef team). I’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels worldwide, but this one is special. Recommend Full Board—the food is amazing. Thanks to Mr. Sahbe (Duty Manager) for his kindness and hospitality."
