"Well, you can sleep there. The food sucks, it was cold and a buffe a 10 year old with an interest with food could outdo xD my mom has works in a resturant for 18 years and i have loved to cook for all of my 27 years i've been alive, and paying 22 euro per person for that is a joke, you even had to pay for coffe, most drinks where allready done and in buttles, i would say the best part of the food was the hot chocolate you hot to breakfast, witch by itself was warm milk and powder. "Hostel style, one sleeps in a wooden box in a large shared room. Bathrooms are very nice, everything is communal. That increases social interactions and people are generally respectful and engaging, eager to help each other. The cost is low and for a place to stay and enjoy Melk, it was fine. The GPS points you to the other side of the building, rather, the place is on the street closer to the train line."

Top Eschenau Hotel Reviews

Wachauerhof Melk

10/10 Excellent

"Ubicado en el centro antiguo, limpio, cómodo y con un buen desayuno."

Hotel Residenz Hössinger

10/10 Excellent

"What a gem! They were surprised we were Americans - very hospitable friendly helpful staff! Loved the massage bed, room air conditioner, full shower, complimentary breakfast, amazing views from our balcony, local charm of a country side hotel! Worth staying longer than just 1 night! Very charming and many amenities for a countryside hotel in Austria - more like a bed and breakfast. Will return!"

Hotel Smart Liv’In

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful stop on on journey. The kitchenette was equipped with everything that we might have needed. All very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely return."

Dream Factory Hostel Melk

8/10 Good

Hotel Stadt Melk

10/10 Excellent

"Check in and out was incredibly easy, and pleasant. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, and checked in, I was then given great maps and directions from the hotel to the Abbey and locations I wished to visit during my stay. It was all very lovely!"

Hotel Moser

8/10 Good

"C’est un petit village tranquille, pour les gens qui aiment le velo"

Hotel Donauhof

10/10 Excellent

"We found a lot of dust, and some bits of trash. The location was perfect, right across the river from Melk, and there is a free parking lot. The biggest thing was that we chose it because the website said there was air conditioning, and there is NOT air conditioning. The staff was nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. The room had a nice, big bathtub, which made us happy."

Aparthotel Mariazellerhof

8/10 Good

"The room was teeny tiny but I had my own bathroom. And the Expedia price was half of regular soap all in all it was OK"

Pension Babenberger

8/10 Good

"This was perfect for me for a quick stop and visit the Melk monastery. Breakfast was simple but with good quality and fresh! "
