"The hostel is very clean. The room and beds are comfortable an the ensuite bathroom helps. The checkin was efficient and friendly. Kitchen facilities very good, there was 2 large fridges with plenty of space, and plenty of utensils. Wifi was great! And the staff were very friendly and helpful. The common area with the couches is very comfortable. Location was 3 minutes to La Rambla and central. Thanks for the great stay!"

"The staff was very personable and extremely helpful with any questions we had. The location was perfect for walking to all the different areas of Barcelona. A variety of food establishments within easy walking distance. Felt very comfortable and safe walking in the area surrounding the hotel. It really was a perfect hotel! Definitely would recommend as a hotel to stay in Barcelona."

"The place was spotless, very convenient, and comfortably fit four of us with plenty of room. The location is excellent, right near a grocery store. Having a full-function kitchen, an in-room washer/dryer, and a multi-use microwave oven made our stay super convenient. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free!"

Petit Palace Trencadis

"We really enjoyed our stay at Petit Palace Trencadis in Barcelona and would definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a very nice selection. The location is in a quiet area, yet conveniently close to grocery stores, other shops, and a market, which made it very easy to pick up anything we needed. And the staff were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful; Kim deserves a special mention for being especially welcoming and attentive. Of course, no hotel is perfect, and there are a few things to be aware of. This is a boutique hotel, not one of those large luxury hotels on Passeig de Gracia. So, if your main goal is to impress people, you may want to stay there instead — and be prepared to pay accordingly! But for us, the smaller, more personal atmosphere was part of the charm. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from the Metro, so it is not quite the most convenient option if you want to use public transportation. And while the pool is a nice feature, the view from it is nothing particularly memorable. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Great breakfast, friendly staff, a peaceful location, and all the everyday conveniences nearby. We left very happy with our choice and would happily recommend Petit Palace Trencadis to others visiting Barcelona."

"The agent who checked us in was very nice and welcoming, and even offered us coffee, which we appreciated. However, the next morning there was a different female agent working, and we were charged €1 per coffee pod. This was never disclosed to us at check-in, especially since the coffee had initially been offered as though it were complimentary. The rooms are also designed a little oddly and may not be for everyone. That said, the location is excellent and very centrally located, making it easy to walk to just about everything."
