Un hôte qui saura satisfaire toutes vos demandes.

Bonjour, notre séjour a été fantastique surtout avec Magid qui a été d'une gentillesse surprenante, il nous a fourni toutes les astuces, pour les restaurants, d'autant plus que c'est un excellent guide en nous exposant toute l'histoire d'Essaouira, et surtout au petits soins avec nous toujours avec tact et douceur. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant avec un hôte comme Magid vous n'en trouverez pas. Merci pour tout Magid.

Very Welcoming!!

You won't find a friendlier, more welcoming hostel in Essaouira. The staff treats you like family! Quaint, homey, delicous shared meals and a great rooptop terrace awsit you here. Thank you Brahim, Simon and Sufian for such great service. Petfect for the budget traveler looking fo relaxation in a great location.

The staff were wonderful, Ayoub, Khalid, Ikram, Nadia, Khadija and others were very helpful in helping you out. I ended up staying there for over a week. Cleanliness/ Amenities of the overall hostel was poor, but this was mainly the actual building itself due to lack of upkeep from the Owner of the building, not the people working there every day. But my own living area was clean and was done every day, so no complaints there. Overall if you want a cheap stay in Essaouria, with friendly people, close to everywhere, then this is a perfect place to be! The terrace is also nice and comfortable, and there is always music playing and laughter all around. The people who work at the hostel are very friendly, and will help you out as much as they can!

Good location and staff. Younger crowd in their 20's mainly there. Nice roof top terrace. No alcohol allowed as that is the house rules, but plenty of bars not far away.

They wanted more money than we paid online. Said that technical problem between them and hotels.com. We booked 3 beds for 3 nights in a dorm which we payed in advance. When we arrived the lady at the reception told us that what we paid was only for 1 person because they had a problem with the website which they didnt try to fix so they get more customers. She wanted that we pay for two more people. We had to argue for early one hour till she finally gave us the beds we booked. The hostel is one of the noisiest i have ever been to. At least they was a young Maroccan guy volunteering at the hostel who was really nice and helpful.

壁を塗り直している最中だった。それは仕方ないが、最初の部屋は下水の匂いと飛んでるハエの数が異常で移動させてもらった。 移った部屋はハエはいなかったがカビの匂いがしていた。 夜は誰かの声だとか歌だとかが結構騒がしかった。

Friendly but watch for bedbugs

A good vibe and friendly youth hostel and an open kitchen you can cook in. However my partner managed to get several bites from bedbugs from staying which ruined our trip.

quand nous sommes arrivés, nous avons eu l'impression d'être un peu perdues, puis le lendemain, en fait nous étions très près du centre de la médina nous avons passées 3 jours à flâner, découvrir...., bien que mon amie se soit fait voler son téléphone portable par 2 jeunes en mobylette dans une petite rue nous avons beaucoup apprécier notre séjour et surtout la gentillesse des gens de l'hostel Essaouira (et des marocains en général)!! encore merci à tous pour votre patience!! rapport qualité prix rien à redire, au top un grand Bonjour à Simon et tous les autres!!

Скромный хостел на пару ночей

Милый хостел, жили вдвоем в двухместном номере. Менеджер очень старается угодить постояльцам, да бы рейтинг хостела чуть упал, а, видимо, конкуренция большая, да и несезон был. В зоне отдыха на первом этаже есть кухня со всей утварью. Готовили стейк акулы, купленный на рыбацком рынке. Номера темноватые ,как и во всех риадах Марокко. Ночью довольно прохладно (были в середине ноября 2015 г.). Расположен в медине. Она самая, на мой взгляд, не запутанная, по сравнению с мединой Марракеша и Феса. Нашли сами.

Best hostel in Africa!

If you like to travel backpacker style, Essouira Hostel is the only option in the entire Morocco. It is world class! Perfect location and very cool and smartly designed building, but the gem is Magic Man who has been running this hostel for 9 years. You could ask for a more awesome hostel manager. Coolest guy ever, super helpful, very friendly and utmost professional. He, Omar and Rashida is the perfect hostel team. Warmly recommended from someone who's been to 61 countries and has backpacked more than most!

magical week..

we booked a private room as we were travelling as a couple, and it was well worth it. the room was large clean and with its own WC and direct access to the beautiful roof terrace. The hostel provided a wonderful atmosphere for meeting other travellers and the communal kitchen was great for cooking with new friends. Central to the median it was just a short walk to busy stalls and restaurants. Staff were friendly and worked very hard to make us comfortable.

Hostel Essaouria- the best hostel for young people

I really enjoyed my holliday in this hostel. It was amazing location few meters from market and 15 min from beach. Staff was very welcoming and always helped with anything we need. Also we got map of medina what was very helpfull. There was very chilled atmosphere and all the other guests was very nice. In the evenings we could social with other guests and listen some of life guitar music played by manager and Magic. Also the breakfest was amazing. We was well looked after. I deffinytly will go back there.
