Traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina

Centered in the heart of the Medina. Very warm welcome on arrival. Beautiful traditional Riad feel from when you walk through the door. Be prepared for many steps to climb or be sure to ask for a room on lower floors. Extremely spacious room. Nicely laid out. Traditional bathroom though no actual shower, only a shower head laying in the bath and no shower curtain which proved awkward and inconvenient. Exceptionally noisy from early morning with other guests and music playing. Room doesn’t block much sound out. All in all relatively good value for money, great location and very friendly staff

Very beautiful riad

Very beautiful riad with many artitistic details in the decoration. The rooms were very clean.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could have been better. The location is perfect in the middle of the medina.

A fantastic Riad!

I would highly recommend staying here if you come to Essaouira. The ambiance and level of service were incredible. It benefits from a beautiful terrace and the owners are very helpful.

Location is good.I got a big room. But at night, 2am, there was someone using a hammer hit something loudy outside the buiding for a while. Don't know what happen.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral an der Medina. Das Frühstück ear wirklich sehr lecker, es gab Baguette mit Frischköse und Marmelade, sowohl als auch regionale Köstlichkeiten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unser Problem mit der Dusche wurde innerhalb von ein paar Stunden gelöst als wir in der Stadt unterwegs waren. Natürlich darf man alles nicht an den deutschen Standards messen (Wassertemperatur und -druck waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig), aber rund um war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in diesem Riad. Und ein besonderes Extra ist natürlich die wunderschöne Dachterasse mit Bar :) Im nächsten Urlaub werden wir auf jeden Fall hier nochmal schlafen

A lovely place to stay. Just what you’d expect from a Riad. Our room was cool and calm with high ceilings and a lovely four post bed. The reception/communal area was tranquil with a bubbling fountain. Breakfast was served on the Terrance with rooftop views over Essaouira. The perfect stay.

Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Joli riad décoré simplement mais avec beaucoup de goût. Situé dans la médina mais avec accès facile. Grande terrasse pour petit-dejeuner avec belle vue panoramique dont mer. Grande chambre avec lits confortables. Enfin équipe très sympathique et aux petits soins pour répondre aux besoins des clients.

Après les promenades dans la médina, sous le soleil ardent de février le riad « Les Terrasses d’Essaouira » est une oasis de paix et de fraîcheur . Il y a des bouquins, des fauteuils et des canapés, et le chant des oiseaux au réveil . Les chambres sont confortables, décorées avec goût et d’une propreté rigoureuse. Très bon accueil . Le petit déjeuner, sur le toit-terrasse, frôlerait la perfection avec quelques fraises du marché et des m’smen cuits sur place. Raja veille à notre bien-être et personnifie bien le sens de l’hospitalité marocaine avec amabilité et délicatesse. Nous aurions beaucoup apprécié d’avoir la possibilité en fin de journée de pouvoir boire un verre sur le toit terrasse, avec quelques « tapas » (ou genre mezze) c’eût été parfait, avant d’aller dîner à l’extérieur. Bien prévoir de régler en devises Merci à Sadio, Marie, Raja et Saadia , nous reviendrons In Shaa Allah

Soggiorno piacevole, Riad molto accogliente, in un'ottima posizione nella medina, con una colazione sulla terrazza molto buona ed abbondante. Personale molto simpatico e disponibile e prezzo giusto. Ottima connessione Wi Fi. Unico neo la camera non viene rifatta tra una notte e l'altra.

viaggiavo con la mia famiglia, tra cui mio padre di 85 anni e mio figlio 18enne..all'inizio appena arrivati da Marrakech, le camere che ci avevano assegnato non ci soddisfacevano, buie e un po' tristi, poi ci hanno fatto scegliere tra le camere ancora disponibili e la nostra in particolare, una tripla all'ultimo piano, aveva una luce fantastica, era molto ampia e con un bagno comodo.Le zone in comune sono ben tenute e piene di cura, al contrario la manutenzione delle camere stenta a essere soddisfacente, ma si viene ripagati dalla gentilezza e cordialità del manager Jerome di sua madre. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è più che buono. La terrazza all'ultimo piano fantastica, soprattutto per godersi il tepore del sole pomeridiano..la mattina per la colazione fa decisamente freddo, tuttavia è possibile essere serviti in camera.

The Riad is great, the location is good, staff is fantastic, specially Fatma. When you walk in you feel like you are transported to a different place, it’s quiet, peaceful and well decorated. The “tradicional “ Marocan breakfast on the terrace is marvellous. Would higher recommend and would stay again.

Lovely Essauoira

Staff was very helpful. Able to leave luggage on final day while went shopping. Rooftop breakfast was lovely. Room spacious and clean. No A.C., but coastal breeze kept room cool, even in July.

Lovely central riad

I enjoyed staying in this comfortable riad. A delicious breakfast is served on the lovely terrace and there is also a charming lounge downstairs. My en suite room was pretty, quiet and clean. The staff were kind and helpful.

You can’t beat breakfast on the roof looking at the sea and listening to the birds. The room was comfortable and quiet. The rhiad was a combination of traditional Morocco and modern France.
