"Check-in time is at 4pm. Staff comes in at that time. Breakfast starts at 8am. The staff that is there to check-in and provide service till 8pm was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are small as it seems to be geared for the skiers. Good location once you get there. Without a car directions are deceiving and the walk is long with trailing luggage. Try to get the bus from the train station which will take you up the mountain (it’s free). This bus can also take you to other near by towns (such as...

"We had a wonderful stay at L’Ecrin de Megève. The Chamois room was beautiful and comfortable, the spa facilities were excellent, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding with a great selection. What really stood out was the warm, attentive service from the team, who made the stay feel very personal and welcoming. A fantastic place to stay in Megève – we would happily return."

"Beautiful old village in the gorgeous alps near around Mont Blanc. Beautiful drive up the winding roads. Clean, quiet, lovely friendly staff, easy free parking, in the town of St.-Germain-Les-Bains. The room was huge and had a nice balcony we could look out over another village down in the valley. We did not take the breakfast but it looked nice. We drove 20" to Chamonix to take the gondola (telepherique). Totally worth the ticket price to go to the top! Astonishing beauty and history....

"Perfectly located a few blocks from the pedestrian center. The rooms are relatively small but don’t feel small because of the thoughtful design and amenities. Two comfortable chairs. Double sinks. Decent size desk. Very comfortable beds with huge pillow and headboard designed to make it comfortable to sit in bed, in addition to regular pillows and bedding. Delightful staff. Attractive dining room. Good breakfast and very responsive servers. Definitely a winner."
