"We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel was pretty good. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the standard of the food was very good. The following morning we had breakfast and it was very busy. There was only one coffee machine and it kept breaking down so there was a long queue to get drinks. "The Swan Hotel is a unique venue in a historic village which is like stepping back to Tudor times. Our large room had recently been refurbished and was lovely with a large super comfy bed. Personally I’d have preferred a walk in shower to one over the bath. Nice to have a safe in the room but positioning on the wardrobe floor wasn’t very practical. "

"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out.
