10/10 Excellent
"The location is fabulous, overlooking the Solheimajokull Glacier, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, and Dyrholaey Lighthouse. Close to Vik also. Clean rooms and the breakfast buffet is included. I just wished there were darker curtains as we visited in summer, and it got light really early in the morning. We loved watching the puffins."

"Contacting the property before hand was impossible. I tried to as another night to my stay but was never able to get ahold of anyone (tried over several months prior to my stay). The location was beautiful. Place was quiet, clean and in a good location. Would stay here again."

"My husband and I enjoyed our room at the Barn. It was very much over our budget but we booked late and there were few options for a room with a private bathroom in Vik. Despite the expense, we were happy with the size and cleanliness of the space. Our room was set in a seperate single-floor building with just a few units, so it was quiet and also had a lovely view of the surrounding hills. It looked like a newer building but was a little worn in areas - stained blinds, some worn paint and a loose sink faucet. This didn't affect our 1-night stay but could be a small area for improvement."
