Hotel Ristorante La Bastiglia

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel and the restaurant were both top notch. We loved staying there. The only caveat was that there were 52 steps to our room, so we got lots of excise while we were there. If you have mobility issues, be sure to tell the hotel n advance. Otherwise we were delighted and would stay there again, even with all the steps."

"We had a beautiful stay in Assisi! Our rooms were at the front of the building with beautiful little balconies covered in flowers. Comfortable beds, great curtains/shutters, and well situated bathroom amenities. Perfectly located just on the edge of town. Easy walking distance to all the major sites and churches. We enjoyed the breakfast and Enrico's coffee! Overall a fantastic stay. Felt like we were travelling back in time to tranquil, traditional Assisi. Bellissimo!"

"The room was clean. I felt the shower was tight. It was extremely hot in the room despite the “air conditioning “, which seemed to do nothing. We opened the window to try and cool it off, but there was so much traffic noise. Our understanding was that there was no traffic aloud in the historic area, but that was not the case. For the price we paid and the lack of sleep I would not book this place again."
