"We stayed at the Days Inn in Rutland, Vermont, and overall it was a very basic experience — really just a place to sleep for the night and not much more.
The complimentary breakfast was pretty terrible with very limited options and not much quality. The hotel advertises itself as updated, but it honestly didn’t feel that way. The beds were incredibly noisy — even just walking by them made the frames creak and clang loudly like a gong. It made it difficult to move around the room without waking everyone up.
There were also a lot of kids running up and down the hallways making noise at all hours, so it definitely wasn’t the quietest stay. In the bathroom, the door barely closed because of the excessive layers of paint on it, and the shower leaked during use. They only provided one roll of very thin toilet paper, which felt cheap and inconvenient.
Overall, this hotel is extremely basic. It worked as somewhere to lay your head for the night, but I wouldn’t expect much comfort or quality beyond that."
