If you watched Outlander the TV series you may recognise this fountain in Falkland in Fife. It's the spot where Jamie gazes up at the window of the guest house Frank and Claire are staying in. Falkland is a stand in for Inverness and the Covenanters Arms pub stands in for the guest house they stayed in.
Falkland Palace, Fife, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 expanded from a hunting lodge to become a castle in the 13th century and was owned by the Earls of Fife, Clan MacDuff.

The room was freezing cold. The heaters were switching themselves off and showing an error message of a window being open. In reality, it was just a draft from the closed window. Staff brought up a heater as soon as I let them know. The bathroom was also freezing cold. No conditioner only shampoo. ...
