"Scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold unfortunately, they should be kept warm.. otherwise breakfast was adequate for a small inexpensive hotel. "Roots was a great place to stay with my family overnight. The staff were polite and helpful when we arrived a few hours early, then phoned me to let me know that the room was ready. My children liked the hot chocolates from the machine; we looked at the pool and it was small but a good feature to have, although we didn't get time to use it. The room was clean and had everything we wanted for one night. It was basic rather than luxurious, but that was all we needed to drop our bags, change, and sleep for one night. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Faro for a similar short break."
