"A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. "Hadsten Motel hentes nøgle til værelset ved nærliggende Tankstation og har i flere omgange boet på stedet, der er igangværende renoveringer på værelset. Desværre hænger kontaktstik (værelse 3) ude af væg, og ledning løsnet så kontaktstik ikke virker, gulvvarme ved bad virker ikke, så der er noget koldt om morgen når man skal i bad, ingen rengøring og udskiftning af håndklæder ved 5 overnatninger, men ellers godt tilfreds med placering og tilgængelighed af værelse og dejlig stort parkeringsplads...

"Almost excellent. Charming. Beautifully decorated. Convenient to Aarhus & Silkeborg. Rooms could have used a lick of fresh paint and bathrooms needed updating. Also a vacuum in the hallway. Dinner in the dining room was very well prepared, albeit with a limited menu. Could easily be so much more. Still, we enjoyed it more than the star ratings suggest. So romantic!"

"Great location for this historic hotel. Although there is parking behind the hotel it is not included in the room price and is expensive. The breakfast buffet was average. They ran out of the fresh loaves of bread and did not replenish them."

"Very friendly personnel, nice place, but my room at the motel part was not so nice : only one ridiculously small window that if opened was easily for someone to unlock safety lock at door ( for a single woman travelling made it a bit worrying), not opening the window: made room too hot to sleep. Also that window gave no privacy as it's along the door unless you unroll the blinder and make the room dark. Dinner was very tasty, but it took me 40 min to get a desert served, staff forgot that a...
