An incredible stay where we were extremely well looked after by our hosts and had the most wonderful wedding. Each and every staff member was super friendly and we were extremely lucky to be blessed with beautiful surroundings, amazing wildlife and fantastic food. Thank you for making our stay the most enjoyable it could have been
Our room and view was fantastic. The kayaking and snorkeling were great. The staff, especially Vanessa in the restaurant, and Chantel, our host/butler were extremely responsive, attentive and friendly. But the whole staff was wonderful and we received great service from everyone. Housekeeping kept our villa pristine and room service was excellent. The spa was beautifully situated and the treatment rooms were gorgeous with beautiful views. The treatments were fantastic and the visiting doctor, Dr Anil, resolved an issue my wife was having with her leg. The sunset/moonrise yoga was amazing as well. We also saw baby turtles leave their nests to begin their life at sea. What an amazing natural phenomenon! We highly recommend this property and found that 4 nights for us was the perfect amount of time. Oh and the helicopter ride in from Mahe is well worth the money!
Private butler can make a world of difference when you stay at the villas. In this case, Daniel, our butler was mega! You should ask for him when you make the booking, he really stood out when it came to personalized service!
This resort was AMAZING! Beautiful island and staffs are so kind!. Check in and check out was from our room. we didn't even have to go anywhere! Used the app to call buggies and room service. Shout out to Rodney for taking care of us and showing us around the island! He was a sweetheart!! And we just witnessed 3 critically endangered species of Hawksbill turtle get released into the ocean... the cutest thing EVER!! The water, the beach was SO gorgeous. And also a shout out to Dev at the spa for taking some beautiful pictures for us (selfie stick wasn't cutting it for us :) You MUST book the spa pool! It was out of this world! Wish we could stay longer! This resort was expensive but you get the premium services! Fell in love with this country. Definitely our top favorite destination along w/ Bora Bora. Seychelles is my 80th country to visit and I am overly surprised by it's beauty!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Six Senses hotel, located on one of the most beautiful islands in Seychelles I have ever seen in my life. Having visited many islands and seas, I can confidently say that this island surpasses them all in natural beauty. This is the third island I've visited in Seychelles, and it has quickly become a favorite.
The hotel's location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene environment. The design and layout of the property are thoughtfully done, providing a seamless blend of luxury and nature. I particularly enjoyed the room view and the style, which exuded elegance and comfort.
However, there were a few areas where my experience fell short. Despite the staff's efforts, there was a noticeable sense of unhappiness among them, and they lacked the energy to serve, which affected the overall atmosphere. This was particularly evident in comparison to other hotels I have stayed at in the Seychelles. The staff's energy and vibe play a crucial role in enhancing a guest's experience, and this is where the hotel could improve.
The food was another area of concern. Given the hotel's isolated location, there was only two restaurants available, which operated at limited times. While the quality of the food was good, the choices were extremely limited. Room service was a miss and always missed up our orders. This is something that the hotel should address and take seriously.
On a positive note, our butler was exceptional.
Amazing hotel, exceptional service and unbelievable villas!! Nestled around and over spectacular granite stones on a private Island this hotel is great just to stay but it is important not to miss neighboring Anse Source D’Argent in La Digue. Only a 10 minute boat away. The hotel organizes group or private excursions to the island. They don’t have the group excursions every day. Check in advance.
The good - beautiful, well maintained property. Scenery is amazing. It’s not Maldives or Bora Bora, but it’s the next best.
Getting there is hell (unless you are willing to risk your life in a helicopter - as many people do).
Food is pretty bad - but is priced like a 3 Star Michelin restaurant. A fix priced BBQ vegetables and tuna salad was 2250 SCR ($170). Not including the filtered tap water - that’s extra.
We did not have a single “wow dish”. It’s like going to Olive Garden and paying $200.
Staff is friendly, but fairly useless. They try, but all too often they just don’t get it right.
The hotel is the only thing (other than beautiful nature) on the island. If you want to get to the nearby Island (5-6 mins by boat) you’ll have to pay $100 RT.
Still, pretty, luxurious, modern property on a beautiful island.
Amazing property, amazing staff. We have stayed at many five star resorts and this one simply felt the best. Everyone seemed genuinely happy and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Nothing seemed forced.
Best property you can find in Seychelles. The villa is most beautiful. Each villa / party is assigned a GEM and ours was Yasmina who was golden. She took care of everything from arranging sunset dinners to bunch of boat and taxis to various islands. If you are gonna splurge a little I would suggest go to six senses. This was a one a lifetime experience. Privacy was utmost with the villa being surrounded by forests and ocean. We stayed at the panaroma villa and it was a sight to behold. We wanted to spend our honeymoon in privacy and luxury and this was the best experience ever. The only issue we found a bit annoying was the room service could enter our room and an incident where the room service entered the room because we did not answer the door and were relaxing near the private pool. We found that to be a jarring experience but if you remember to set the Do not disturb sign this should not be an issue. Either it was a lapse of privacy that I had read in other reviews too. If you prefer isolation and privacy this is the best place to visit.
